I graduated from University College Cork and then went to England to specialise in Family Medicine.

Following graduation, I obtained further qualifications in:

• Children's Health
• Women's Health
• Family Planning
• Occupation Health
• Sports and Exercise Medicine

I also hold Membership Degrees for both Irish College of General Practitioners (M.I.C.G.P.) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (M.R.C.G.P).

My Practice Nurse is Una. She is a state registered Nurse/Midwife. As part of the practice team she is fully skilled to carry out such tasks as doing blood tests, cardiographs, administering vaccinations / nebulised therapy, measuring blood pressure and so on. She is a fully trained smear taker and participates in the Irish Cervical Screening Programme, which is fully supported by the practice. She is also a fully qualified practicing Chiropodist.

The practice has links with University College Galway; it serves as a teaching practice for medical students.
