Childhood Vaccinations

Babies born on or after 1 October 2016 are offered the vaccines below:

 11 - 14 Years Tdap

Five visits to your GP to be fully vaccinated.

 

Remember to give your baby 3 doses of liquid infant paracetamol after the 2 and 4 month Men B vaccines.

  1. Give 2.5mls (60mgs) of liquid infant paracetamol at the time of the immunisation or shortly after.
  2. Give a second dose of 2.5mls (60mgs) 4 to 6 hours after the first dose.
  3. Give a third dose of 2.5mls (60mgs) 4 to 6 hours after the second dose.

6 in 1: Diphtheria, Haemophilus influenza B (Hib), Hepatitis B, Pertussis (whooping cough), Polio and Tetanus

4 in 1: Diphtheria/Tetanus/Whooping Cough/IPV

Hib/Men C: Haemophilus influenza b + Meningococcal C combined vaccine

Men B: Meningococcal B

Men C / Men C Booster: Meningococcal C

MMR:  Measles, Mumps, Rubella

PCV : Pneumococcal conjugate

Rotavirus: Rotavirus oral vaccine

Tdap: Tetanus/Low dose diphtheria and pertussis
